So, if you're new to Dresden, that may mean that your German skills aren't amazing yet, maybe they are though. Either way, if you would rather not leave your home, there are many ways to get the things you need (aka groceries, clothing, movies...etc.) You can just order them online! Here's a list of many places that are very helpful. If you know of any other sites that may be useful, just email it to me.

Food Carry out and Delivery:

• Bob’s Corner - American food.
• Arizona Bistro - Pizza, Chinese, Indian, Mexican, Salads, Sandwiches, etc.
• Hallo Pizza - Pizza delivery chain. Has several located in Dresden.
• Calla Pizza - Pizza delivery chain. Has several located in Dresden.

Online Translators:

• Dict Leo - Best German-English on-line dictionary.
• Babelfish - Translate words, sentences, phrases and websites.
• Free Translation - Translate words, sentences, phrases and websites.

Movies:

www.kinowoche.de has movie listings for theaters in Dresden. Simply go to the site and on the left hand side select a theater (Kino wälen), a day (Tag wälen), or a time (Zeit wälen). You could also choose Film suchen to search for a specific film. 

There are also several movie rental places located in Dresden. Video World is a good place to visit. You can rent a movie for €1.50 and another €1.50 for any day after that.

Transportation:
